FAQs

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funds the support services you need as an individual living with a disability to live independently. The NDIS empowers people with disabilities and their families by given them access to support services.

According to the NDIS, you are eligible to receive support services if you have a permanent disability or illness. NDIS covers many disabilities such as physical, intellectual, cognitive and more.

You may be eligible to receive funds for support services if you meet the NDIS eligibility criteria. For more information, you can visit the NDIS website at https://www.ndis.gov.au/

Managing your NDIS funding can be tricky, however you have the option of being:

  • Plan Managed - allows a Registered Plan Manager to manage your fund.
  • Self-Managed -  means that you can manage your NDIS funding.
  • NDIA Managed - means that the NDIS manages your funding for you.
For more information, contact the NDIS in Regional Victoria on 1800 800 110 or visit their website at https://www.ndis.gov.au/
